About Prax
The US is in the middle of an access to care crisis. One in four people lack access to essential care. Nurse Practitioners (NPs) are stepping in to fill that gap; however, starting and running an independent practice has been a bureaucratic nightmare. Until now.

Prax Health helps nurse practitioners start, run, and grow independent practices: in any specialty, in all 50 states. We've launched 300+ practices and we're building the operating system for independent care. We're a small team, backed by serious investors, and we treat marketing as a growth engine.

Role
Nurse Practitioners are the answer to America's frontline care crisis, but most don't have the time, tools, or playbook to grow their practices. That’s where you come in - you will own how Prax’s providers grow. 

You'll get providers succeeding on the channels that matter, and you'll measure your impact in revenue and practice growth. Whether that is a Zocdoc launch that drives low cost referral volume, a Google Business profile that actually ranks, or a review engine that turns happy patients into a referral flywheel. And more.

Initially, you'll be in the trenches with providers, launching them on Zocdoc, owning their Google Business Profiles, getting their Prax websites live, running their review engines, and testing new acquisition channels. You'll talk to providers constantly, and you'll learn what actually drives growth as well as who our customers are.

Before long, everything you learn should start to become a system (that you build!). The patient review playbook becomes a product spec, then a product that you partner with engineering to ship. The ZocDoc account setup becomes a one-click onboarding flow, etc. And then the role moves into adding channels, establishing metrics and dashboards, and building the system to scale.

This is a launchpad role. We're a small team and the ceiling is determined by your interest and capabilities. You'll be reporting to our CMO and work directly with the CEO, COO, and CTO. 

What you'll do
* Own provider growth end-to-end. You're their point person for setup, launch, and the questions that come up along the way
* Run Zocdoc launches, Google Business Profiles, Prax websites, review engines, directory listings
* Write provider-facing copy that converts, e.g. Google Business descriptions, review request emails, directory bios, landing page tweaks.
* Edit every piece of copy before it goes out under a provider's name. Sharp eye for voice, clarity, and brand.
* Build the SOPs, playbooks, and templates that make this scale past you
* Scope and spec new channels and tools - e.g. review pipelines, automated outreach, internal dashboards, and partner with engineering to ship them
* Jump into whatever growth work needs a hand: landing pages, campaigns, brand, the thing on fire. We're a startup, so the work doesn't always fit a job description.
* Use AI aggressively and creatively to do the work of a team 10x your size

Who you are
* 1–3 years in a high-performance, high-production environment: growth ops, marketing ops, investment banking, consulting, vertical SaaS, or equivalent
* Sharp writer, sharper editor. You catch the AI slop, the typo, the off-brand phrase, the sentence doing too much
* Maniacally organized. You don't drop balls. You catch other people's mistakes.
* Bias to ship. Rough today beats perfect next month. Production matters most of all in this role.
* Warm on phone and video, responsive on email. Clinician entrepreneurs build trust with you fast.
* Live inside AI tools (Claude Cowork, ChatGPT, Linear, Lovable, etc.) and pick up new ones quickly; we expect constant evolution here.
* Based in SF, in the office 2 set days a week, with potential for 3–4 set in-person days in the future

Bonus
* Have started and built something, whether a business (full or part time), a Substack, an Etsy shop, a club, etc.
* Background in healthcare, healthtech, or marketing for small business owners
* Has worked with NPs, PAs, or independent practice owners directly
* Has worked with Google Business Profile, Zocdoc, Yelp, or local SEO
